Australian Fitness Network offers Fitness Australia-approved Pre and Post-Natal courses that will ensure you gain the knowledge and skills to safely prescribe exercise for pre and post-natal clients. These courses are ideal if you want an indepth understanding of programming for women through the different stages of pregnancy and post-birth.

These dynamic courses have been developed by a team of pregnancy, post-natal and pelvic floor fitness experts, including physiotherapists and fitness professionals who specialise in women’s health.

When working with this special population it is essential that you access the most up-to-date information regarding all aspects of pre and post-natal fitness. Upon completion of these courses, you will graduate with the confidence to teach pre and post-natal clients safely and effectively.

Dianne Edmonds is a Physiotherapist from Western Australia, with a special interest in women's health and the pelvic floor. For the past 15 years Dianne has donated her time to help address women's health, continence and pelvic floor issues across Australia. In 2001, Dianne volunteered as the Chairperson of Continence and Women's Health Physiotherapy Australia (CWHPA), a position she maintained for six years. During this time she also became involved with the Continence Foundation of Australia, and from 2008 to 2011 – on behalf of CWHPA – Dianne was the representative for the International Order of Physical Therapy in Women's Health. Through her role in the Continence Foundation of Australia, Dianne was involved in the initial development of the Pelvic Floor First campaign, and in 2010 she took over a position as the campaign’s Project Manager until the completion of the project in July 2011. Since then she has been a PFF campaign Ambassador.Dianne was a member of the expert reference group involved in the development of Fitness Australia's Pre & Post-Natal Exercise Guidelines published in September 2013.

Dianne currently works as a Physiotherapist at Peel Maternity and Family Practice in Mandurah, Western Australia, and she is also the Director and Founder of her own website, The Pregnancy Centre, which provides links to Pelvic Floor First resources, in order to promote safer choices for pregnancy and post-natal fitness programs. Dianne has also developed an online series for fitness professionals, which addresses Pregnancy and Postnatal Core Conditioning using the Pelvic Floor First principles.
